Blinded by Hope.
Hope. Sure if we have that we potentially have the universe in the palm of our hand. What do we do then? Close the hand to keep it or keep the palm open to let it breath.
In closing the hand, will we crush the hope we seen. In keeping the hand open. Will Hope escape us? In both cases, they are both wrong. In any action we take to keep hope. We curtail it. You must follow road not try to choose its direction. The best you can do is provide materials for the road.
That is where Hive is and has been for years. Looking at a vast expanse and HOPING someone will come along and build a road to all of the other places out there. In some cases the minds are dismissing the roads and concentrating on flying to all destinations first.
The problem there. No roads when you get to where you go.
Maybe it is not roads we need to starting building with. But a mere walkway from one place to another. The busier the road. The more it gets built.
Someone needs to walk that pathway first, before others can follow.
On Hive we do not need to build the roads out. We need to build the roads in.
Building a road out, people see everyone leaving. No one want to go against the flow. When you build the road in. People get nosey and follow the one in front. While on Hive we do not need to build a physical road. We have a need to build travel ways to and from Hive. From Hive is already there in the form of exchanges.
An alternative form might be commerce. (Structured).
So many things in my head right now. The @rscardclub has just thrown a few bags of coal on the fire. Shouldn't have done that at the top of a hill. ha.
No matter the product. Our product is Hive. The financial value of our product is determined by the tokens the Hive blockchain issues. HIVE and HBD.
An amount of HIVE is released each day to be distributed between those that blog on the chain. Call blogging the distribution department of the chain. This amount is finite. The amount released each day may have some variables in it. What votes were cast at what percentage. But overall there is a limited quantity released each day.
To pull a number from air. Let us suggest the amount released each day is a mere 10,000 HBD.
This reward can be claimed in full with HIVE or a split 50/50 with HBD. It is still the same amount.
This amount is shared between all bloggers and voters equally according to HP staked. It is in the interest of the blogger to stake HP they gain from the reward claim. The Hive claimed is powered up. If the 50/50 option is chosen. Then the HBD is rewarded in liquid.
If HIVE is at 0.50 10K from the chain would be 5K HBD and 10K HUVE. Some will power up all. For the sake. Everyone does the 50/50 and everyone sells their HBD.
This creates demand on the chain for HIVE and down pressure on the exchanges. Two polarising effects.
The bigger question here. Who is buying the daily 5K HIVE and why?
The product value must exceed the cost or there is loss. Paid to blog, play games to earn. How many in the western world does that work for? Why does it not work? Why do you drink? Why do you blow smoke?
Went a bit of track there. Or hit the right track. One or the other. Maybe both.
If there is 5,000 a day released. We need to show 5,001 is purchased each day too. Anything less shows any potential incoming finance red flags and high risk with diminishing returns.
These are the things people do not look at. Do not want to look at. The hype around the rise of BTC takes over the mentality. Hype about previous Highs of Hive tokens. The possibilities of what Hive can do will never be realised, if no effort is made to bring that potential about.
I have listened and heard the things positive they say Hive could be. I listened more to the bigger things people have said Hive could be. I listened to the smaller things.
Most everything I have heard. Has been said with the mindset of Hive will cover the cost. The same mindset still works today with the DHF.
Now when I try to talk to these people about Hive. They throw other things to a debate, like BTC or what LTC does. A lot of bollox. None of those things have anything to do with Hive. How it works or what it can do. Those are the entity that will copy Hive if Hive does things right.
Decentralisation is the chains defence. Not its offence.
Hive takes no actions there with offence. Sits here waiting for something to happen. Instead of making it happen.
It is not centralisation of the chain to have set down points provided by the chain. That seems just a standard thing for any network of any kind to do. You could look on them as franchises provided by the presence of Hive. If Hive was not here. They would not build around it.
Wanting Hive to be anything like what any other token chain is. Makes no sense.
Hive's strength is held in the potential.
