Every time I was right, I was never wrong. Why should this time be any different.

If subsidising work. Why isn't every company doing it?
Many are. It is just not your local business doing so. It is the big corporate doing so. Their costs are subsidised by the taxes you pay while working for them.

The thing that makes it all work is inflation. How inflation does work and how it is said to work is not the same. The practise of inflation is manipulated to suit the needs of the moment. Bringing about a fragile economic state.

Well, this is not starting good for subsidising. Telling you it is going to cost you so that someone else benefits. Then profit generated you will never see.

That's the way things work now.

In the end it is our own fault, We speak the words, we want freedom. Yet we finance them to enslave us.

A subsidy is not something that is intended to be eternal. A subsidy makes it easier to get going or through a hard time. Anything else is the edge or beyond and corrupt.

Whatever is subsidised has to have a chance of standing on its own two feet.
I can hear the wokey's already. What about public transport, that's subsidised. Well no it ain't that's a provided service. Something paid for. Yes it is still paid for by taxes. Not the same as funnelling taxes to a private pocket.

Fortunately for us, There is this thing called Hive. It is like a golden goose. Just lays a golden egg each day. Unfortunately, The shell always breaks and there's a scramble for the egg. But everyone can get a piece.

My understanding for the most part is. Some store it as HP. Some cash it out and buy other tokens. Others put it in to games or send to others as support. Some is used to fund personal projects. Does it really matter to any extent what it is used for?

Even here on Hive. People subsidise each other with delegations. I think we can agree. They do help get started. The question becomes. How much is enough? An agreed amount over an agreed period of time.

Looking at some of the things funded by the DHF. It seems, things get funded until someone catches on. Funded. not subsidised.

My own opinion is. Servers are needed. Witness compete for the resources gained from their witness server. I think the value of those rewards should more than cover the cost of running a server. Excluding time. The cost of a server covered over a four year period. A pre-set fee for upgrades SF and HF time. That covers servers. Support servers should also be made. These servers are for the blockchain and not a witness server. A witness could request one of these servers to use for a specific purpose.

Coders are needed to maintain code. Upgrade code. Check code for security issues. These too should be compensated. Can we subsidise everything needed now and the things that will be needed in the future? People rely on the decentralisation of Hive as a defence. They fail to see that the chain itself needs support.

None of this will happen unless people work together to make it so. Looking out for number 1. Everyone loses. Can it be that something is made that everyone benefits?

There's a goal if ever there was one. Everyone can gains.
What does everyone can gain mean?
The shortest answer is, no one loses. To do the things they would like to do, got a little easier.

How do you make money by giving it away? Or how do you grow by giving away the profits?

Look to the real world or Hive. It happens all of the time.
In the real world. Your taxes subsidise corporate. Here on Hive. The DHF subsidises the stable coin HBD. It also subsidises the wages of developers. A system under common abuse.

So we know it works. And we know it is always those with the least bare the heaviest burden.

That is the biggest issue society/civilisation has today. It all circles around finance. Finance is surrounded by greed. Once greed enters the stage, vultures corruption and thieves arrive. Those who will speak well while they pick your pocket.

Just like the real world. Those high up make the choices for everyone. The same is true here on Hive.

The DHF subsidises the HBD value, So those at the top can keep cashing. Effectively, a system devised by those at the top and the top controls it.

The accumulation of wealth can determine everyone's future. It already does.

I know one way to change the power wealth can hold over you. I can see only one way to bring it about, without destroying society as we do.

Build the new core. A core that is not controlled by a central entity. That
core has everything built around it. Everything built on it strengthens and protects it. That's the fiat standard we have today.

The problems arise when it is only one.

I cannot find any commonality here on Hive with anyone it seems. The rewards are not good enough for anyone in the real world to participate. (Though a high reward is a bad place to start, people must be willing to put some effort in).

The worst thing for me is knowing I have something to bring to the table. No one wants me at their table.

Tired of hearing how great a witness is and they done what? All witness have looked after themselves. Tired of hearing how great others are they helped so and so. I see they do fuk all but grow their stake.

All I can see now is to milk the bee's.
