Not much to do...

in #hive5 months ago

I'm not very active lately, to be honest, I'm immersed in investments aimed at obtaining significant recurring income in the medium term since I'm almost 50 already...
I don't find interesting what's been "cooking" lately in HIVE, despite the controversies that we always have and that are usual... the last one with the funding of Splinterlands, which, to be honest, doesn't interest me at all since it doesn't seem to me that we're going down a path of "progress and development", however, I've already understood that as a "Dolphin", my vote is not too relevant either, so I'll let the "competent authorities" discuss among themselves to resolve the issue in a friendly manner.
I had forgotten to check my votes on witnesses from time to time. I don't know what happened to me today but I decided to take a look... and thanks to that I was able to remove a vote from a witness who didn't meet my desired parameters, in this case, he didn't meet the parameter to keep the interest on HBD savings around 20%... I don't know why he had left it at 2%.
I still think that the 20% interest on HBD savings is sustainable... for the moment, I can't think of a reason to remove this incentive for those of us who are still active, after so much time, in this ecosystem.

Beyond what has been explained there is nothing new...
I can only wait for this Bull Market to start taking effect here too... a tedious wait.
Have a good week.

I had to check my own witnesses after you mentioned that and I noticed that one of mine also changed from 20% to 2%. So I guess it's a good idea to check now and then.

Well... 10 dolphins your size make half a whale.

Thanks for the heads up on witnesses. I discovered I was voting for a witness who proposed 0% HBD APR. While I won't necessarily cling on 20%, anything that completely removes interest on HBD makes no sense for me.

everyone is going through a hard time, and having a sustainable income stream is one of the biggest problems we all are facing, you are 50, I can sense you are also struggling for the same. I wish you good luck.

Yeah, patience is key Eddie. Bitcoin is down from its ATH more than 18 weeks now and alts are suffering even more. Not speaking about HIVE which imo got crushed like ice with a new cyclical low of 16 Cents. But I am confident the next 18 weeks will bring lots of pleasure for us crypto investors. It already looks like the correction is ending. 💪🏻
