Hey Hivers and Hivefest Attendees,
Today on Sunday is the day. We started the journey to #Hivefest 2024 in Split, Croatia at 6:30 am.
After a rather nervous night and little sleep, the first coffee was the most important thing at this time of day.
So while @louis88 and my things were already packed, we first took a taxi to the local train station. With a little time planned, we were able to have a small breakfast at the train station and set off for the first leg (train).
Hey Hivers and Hivefest Attendees,
heute am Sonntag ist es soweit. Früh um 06.30 gestartet ging die Reise zum #Hivefest 2024 in Split, Croatien los.
Mit einer eher aufgeregten Nacht und wenig Schlaf war der erste Kaffee das wichtigste um dieser Uhrzeit.
Während also @louis88 und meine Sachen bereits gepackt waren ging es dann zuerst mit dem Taxi zum örtlichen Bahnhof los. Mit etwas eingeplanter Zeit konnten wir noch ein kleines Frühstück am Bahnhof zu uns nehmen und uns für die erste Etappe (Zug) auf machen.
When I got on the train, my holiday vibes started as soon as I saw and spoke to a Thai woman. We talked about our previous trips to Thailand and exchanged our experiences with the islands and the north of Thailand.
Im Zug angekommen sind direkt meine Urlaubsvibes losgegangen als ich eine Thailänderin gesehen und angesprochen habe. Wir erzählten uns etwas über unsere bisherigen Reisen nach Thailand und tauschten unsere Erfahrungen mit den Inseln und den Norden Thailands aus.
Then we continued by train to Frankfurt Airport.
Dann ging es weiter mit der Bahn nach Frankfurt zum Flughafen.
(kleiner proof of posting während meiner reise :) )
Currently, as is well known with German rail, one train is delayed and one has been cancelled. This means we had to take another train and change trains once more to get to Frankfurt Airport.
We managed that too and are looking forward to meeting @detlev and @solarwarrior there, who are taking the same flight with us.

Aktuell ist, wie man es bekanntlich von der deutschen Bahn kennt ein Zug verspätet und einer ausgefallen. Das heißt wir mussten einen anderen Zug nehmen und einmal mehr umsteigen um zum Frankfurter Flughafen zu kommen.
Auch das haben wir gemeistet und freuen uns gleich @detlev sowie @solarwarrior dort zu treffen die mit uns zusammen denselben Flieger nehmen.
