What's happening hustlers? I hope everyone is well. This post is to announce some upcoming changes and maintenance for the HiveHustlers platform. The bear market has been rough on our little project and to that fact, I have made some changes to simplify things, as well as cut excessive costs. Let's get into it shall we?
Domain Change For Hive Community
Since I, @thelogicaldude, took over the HiveHustlers community, I ended up purchasing 2 separate domains in which one was an info site that linked to the community, and the other was the actual Hive community.
Well we have decided to drop the main info page as it wasn't really getting any use and moved the Hive based site over to hivehustlers.com from hivehustlers.io.
What many people don't realize is the cost behind domains. The .io domains are expensive to renew every year, where as the .com is not so much. Being that we don't really bring in much revenue other than post rewards, it is no longer worth it for me to run 2 different sites and keep them maintained.
Main Info Site Has Been Disabled
The main info site I had running on Hivehustlers.com has been taken down since I moved the community over to that domain. I will be replacing the Token-Economy page with a post in the future to explain how the tokenomics work for the community. That was really the only page that got any traffic anyway, so might as well just replace it with a post.
Payout Bot Server Migration- Possible Downtime
On May 30, the server that hosts the payout bots for the Hivecommerce, or COM token, that pays out a portion of our SWAP.HIVE rewards on a daily basis will be getting migrated by the hosting company so there there will be a day of non rewards while this happens. This will also extend to the @blocktunes delegation payout bots for the MUSIC token as they are hosted and running on the same server. This will only be temporary as the migration happens and will get it back and running on May 31.
Ideas For Content and Looking For Content Creators
I am looking for some ideas for content for this account. I have pretty much exhausted my entrepreneurial knowledge thus far, and need some ideas for more content so we can keep creating informative content around business and earning to pay out the community. If you have any ideas, or want to become an official writer for HiveHustlers, let me know in the comments. I will set up an 80% beneficiary template for those posts for the author as well as tag them as the original author of the post for full credit. This means that 80% of the post rewards will go to the original author and the other 20% to the HiveHustlers account to use for staking and community payouts.
In Conclusion
I am trying to keep things alive over here at HiveHustlers, but just need some help from the community to keep things alive and engaging. Cutting some additional costs is going to help some, but I need some help to keep things consistent as you all know I have a lot on my plate that I cooked up for myself, lol. HiveHustlers was always supposed to be community project, so I want to open it up more to the community itself to create content around.
