I wasn’t really familiar with this kind of platforms to begin with, and this is actually the first that I joined. I recently found a friend who has the same fervent passion in writing as me and she told me about this platform. Listening to her story, it caught my interest because it felt like the perfect platform for me because I was a writer who kept all of her stories and thoughts in her notes where only she can read it and this is an opportunity to share my treasured compositions with people who are in the same page as me.
Before anything else, let me introduce myself. I am Ma. Cristel Rovi A. Ribucan or you can just simply call me Tel. I used the username mariacristelrovi since my friends call me either Maria, Cristel or Rovi and I let them call me on a name they prefer since my name is too long. I am 21 years old and currently a 4th year student of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. I am a proud Ilocana and a Filipino.
My personality type is INFJ and yes, I am an introvert. I tend to approach life with deep thoughtfulness and imagination. I may be introverted but I value deep relationships with others. I enjoy meaningful conversations far more than small talks. I like learning new things because it keeps my mind engaged and my body active and I also find it exciting and rewarding if I am able to widen my understanding about things. I love asking my friends about their views on different things and learning from our deep conversations.
I am the type who’d rather put her earphones on and listen to her music than talk to people, well except of course with my friends. I don’t like being in crowded places and I find it more peaceful if I can walk freely as if I have my own little world.
I am also the type who’s not afraid to say what’s on her mind because I like being honest than showering people with white lies, for I believe that it won’t do them any good. Which is why I am thankful for the friends that I have now because they value my honesty and they see my pure intention.
Aside from writing, I’m also a fan girl of K-Pop because I love their songs and the different kind of vibe that it gives. Another reason was dancing because I always had a thing for it even though I’m not a good which is why I settled on watching dance practices rather than pushing myself to memorize their choreography. I also love watching Korean dramas and Korean variety shows like Running Man. I’ve been a fan or RM for a long time now and watching their videos makes me relax and relieve my stress from school works. I love how genuine they are not just because they are in front of the camera and to gain more views. I enjoy watching them enjoy their races and I’m amazed on how they think critically to win the game.
There are many things that I love and want to share about me aside from those mentioned above which is why I am looking forward to share my stories with you and I hope that everyone will enjoy reading them.
