It had been a long time, fortunately, since I had to come here. But yesterday I had to go for some routine tests that I had to have and if I have to have something done I try to have it done here because the Hospital Italiano is a great place where as long as I can remember I have felt that they treat me as if I were family. Not because they are close, but because they are attentive and very humane in their treatment of me as a person.

It turns out that I went for a check-up and they found some unusual values in a blood test and then they sent me for a series of more tests, to make it more complete and see what it was all about. The Italiano is a hospital that has been in Argentina for a long time, I estimate that it has been around for more than 100 years or so, so with so many years of experience besides being very good, they have all kinds of specialties and equipment to do all the studies that are available. Or almost all of them!

I arrived very early because I was going straight to do some paperwork at the center so I went inside the Italian, got settled, bought a coffee and once I had located everything I set out to visit a friend of mine who works in radiology. When I managed to find her, we had a drink in the cafeteria and spent a long time chatting. When we finished, she felt like smoking, so we went to one of the patios and chatted for a while. From there I accompanied her to the lightning again and continued my trip for a walk.

You must be thinking, why does this guy want to go for a walk in a hospital, but the truth is that the building is very picturesque, so the truth is that it is a pleasure to walk through its rooms where it is not only a hospital, it has very nice and old spaces, lamps and columns with all kinds of details. Outside and inside the building.

Those walls received presidents, actresses and a lot of recognized and important people of our country, and also the number of people that really attends every day 24 hours a day 365 days a year to many many many many people per day.

Something very remarkable about this place is how well preserved and the importance they give to the structure and its facade. I was surprised because in Argentina this is a value that few places take into account and when they do it really shows a lot. Today it seems that in this hospital they really take it into account. When you go to places where things work and are done as they should be, it is very noticeable and many times we think that it is very difficult but the truth is that it is not so difficult. You just have to do things with commitment and dedication. When that happens everything goes well no matter if there are unforeseen events.

Hacía mucho, por suerte, que no tenía que ir por acá. Pero ayer tuve que ir por unos estudios de rutina que tenía que hacerme y si tengo que hacerme algo lo intento hacer en este lugar porque el Hospital Italiano es un gran lugar en donde yo desde que tengo recuerdo pude sentir que me tratan como si fuera la familia. No por ser cercanos, sino porque son atentos y son muy humanos en el trato como persona.

Resulta que fui a hacerme un control y me encontraron unos valores fuera de lo común en un análisis de sangre y entonces me mandaría a hacer una serie de estudios más, para que sea más completo y ver de qué se trataba todo eso. El Italiano es un hospital que hace rato que está en Argentina, calculo que más de 100 años o parecido, por lo que con tantos años de experiencia además de ser muy buenos, tienen todo tipo de especialidades y aparatos para hacer todos los estudios que están disponibles. ¡O casi todos!

llegué muy temprano porque iba directo a hacer unos trámites en el centro entonces me fui adentro del Italiano, me acomode compre un café y una vez que había ubicado todo me dispuse a ir a visitar a una amiga que trabaja en rayos. Cuando la logré encontrar, nos tomamos algo en la cafetería y nos quedamos un buen rato charlando. Cuando terminamos ella tenía ganas de fumar, por lo que fuimos a uno de los patios y estuvimos charlando todo un rato. De ahí la acompañe a rayos de nuevo y seguí viaje para dar una vuelta.

Ustedes deben pensar, porque quiere ir a pasear por un hospital este muchacho, pero lo cierto es que lo que tiene es que el edificio es muy pintoresco entonces la verdad es que da gusto pasear por sus cuartos en donde realmente no solo es un hospital, tiene espacios muy lindos y antiguos, lámparas y columnas con detalles de todo tipo. Afuera y dentro del edificio.

Esas paredes recibieron a presidentes, actrices y un montón de personas reconocidas e importantes de nuestro país, y además la cantidad de personas que verdaderamente atiende todos los días las 24 horas del día los 365 días del año a muchísimas muchísimas personas por día.

Algo super rescatable de este lugar es lo bien conservado y la importancia que le dan a la estructura y su fachada. Me sorprendió porque en Argentina ese es un valor que en pocos lugares lo tienen en cuenta y cuando lo hacen realmente se nota muchísimo. Hoy parece que en este hospital realmente lo tienen presente. Cuando vas a lugares en donde las cosas funcionan y se hacen como tiene que ser, se nota mucho y muchas veces pensamos que es muy difícil pero lo cierto es que no es tan difícil. Simplemente tienes que hacer las cosas con compromiso y dedicación. Cuando eso pasa todo sale bien no importa si hay imprevistos.
