Hi everyone wanted to share a portrait I just completed.
This is the reference picture I choose from https://www.instagram.com/p/Coi_RYMr-aP/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
Let me show the process first.
First the outline, for the outline I traced the pic by lowering its opacity.
Using a soft airbrush made the basic layer with colours from the reference picture.
Made a separate layer for the eyes and nose so that it can be changed later, like for size or the position of the eyeball. Also making eyes first give life to the drawing and you can connect with it more at least this is true in my case. eyes always first!
Painting the hair was the best part and it came out soo good I've never been more satisfied with something than this face section. I was actually anxious after this as I thought I've outdone myself here and it probably was a fluke.
For this part, for the hairs around the eyes, I used an airbrush, a knife brush, a round paint brush with low size and a fur brush. This looks so beautiful.
I tried doing the background so that I can work on the neck but it didn't look nice. I tried searching for how to do background but nothing good came so I made this.
This felt good, not very suitable as a background colour but it does contrast with fur and robe.
This is the final picture.
Hope you guys liked it because this one is my favourite and it didn't even take a lot of time, I think I've spent around 5,6 hours in it and if I become handier in Krita It'll take even less. Btw this is my digital art-5.
