Inktober 1 - Backpack

Creative Coin and Inktober

I was a total chump. A few years back I bought $100 worth of CCC with the goal of curating the #inktober. The tag #creativecoin triggers payment of the coin.

The owners of the tribe let the domain expire and the token collapsed.

I have 75,000 CCC in the account #idoodle . I would like to use the coins to curate #inktober . This is worth about $25. Sadly, it is unlikely that anyone will use the tag.

My Stab at Inktober

I am not an artist. When I create art, I would rather use pencil or paint. My idea was that I would start a pencil sketch then finish it with pen. The first inktober prompt is backpack. I was thinking about having a man carrying a back pack through a canyon. So, I did some scribbles to start the hiker and began adding ink. This is the start of the image:

I wasn't happy at all with the composition. So, I decided to try a free hand drawing of my day pack. This is a photo of the day pack:

I started a freehand drawing of the pack with ink. I discovered that my hands have become unsteady through the years. I then proceeded to smudge the ink and became demoralized. Here is the picture. I added some pencil to add depth to the image:

It turns out that I really do not like drawing with ink. Ink is great for creating advertisements and cartoons. But I don't enjoy ads or cartoons.

An AI Drawing

I was not having a good time.

Since AI has been the rage this year. I thought it would be a hoot to use AI to complete the images.

I asked AI to create a Steampunk backpack and in a few seconds it produced the image:

Drawing really taxes the brain. So, I decided that I would take a stab at the inktober prompts on VYBrainium. Hopefull I will earn myself some #POB and #VYB. I will create AI images for posting on my steemit account.
