Ooops, I wrote down the 16th prompt of #inktober as "grunge." The prompt should have been "grungy."
Grunge often refers to a type of garbage music that came out of Seattle in the 1980s.
I've been playing man v. machine during InkTober. I asked Night Cafe to generate an image of a grunge musician. I then made a quick sketch of the AI image and then snuck off into another room to finish drawing the image.
I have not done many scribble drawings. I really don't know how to shade and highlight with pure scribbles. As you see the AI image was all about a balance of shades and highlights.

I think things would be better if I used a photograph as the base image.
I was trying to do the shading with black scribbles alone. I realized that the guitar was the primary focus of the image; I decided to pencil in a neutral background so that the guitar would stand out.
The AI image took a few seconds. The scribble drawing took a few hours.
