InkTober Day 15 - Guidebook

in #inktober2 months ago

I almost finished!

The prompt for #inktober day 15 was "guidebook."

I thought it would be fun to have a person being misled by a guidebook. I thought it might be fun to have an person in a cave following a guidebook. The guidebook tells the spelunker to turn at the yellow column, pass the green and red crystals then cross the delicate bridge to find the eternal cavern.

The guidebook was a little out of date and failed to note that delicate bridge had collapsed. So, as our protagonist follows the guidebook he steps into an abyss instead of delicate bridge.

A person misled by a guidebook makes for a #fun #meme

To create the image I did a really light sketch:

I dropped in the underlay with PrismaColor. This took several hours.

I then finished the image with ink. I used a fountain pen. The fountain pen has a much thinner line than my drip pen. I think i might have done better with the drip pen.

This created the image at the top of the page.

I want to experiment with AI enhanced image. Night Cafe enhanced the image as follows: I lowered the contrast of the AI image as caves are supposed to be dark.

Did you hear about the farmer that fed his chickens avocados?
All you could hear around there was “guac, guac, guac, guac.”
