Hello hivers,
It feels good to be here finally, I've heard a lot of great deals about this platform and the great minds it contains.
My name is Oshundina Oluwatosin Joseph, fondly called "coolJoe" or "JoeStrings" but here on the hive platform you can all call me CoolJoe. I'm from the western part of Nigeria, Ogun state precisely, born 2nd of May in the 90's.
presently I am student of the prestigious federal university of agriculture Abeokuta here in Nigeria.
I am passionate about agriculture, to make agric produce affordable and available and also to make farming easier for local farmers by introducing them to better farming system and techniques and also on how to improve crops viability and production in this part of the country which has prompted me to study plant breeding and seed technology at the institution.
I never really saw agriculture as my thing not until my second year when I saw that I had more interest in Biological and Agricultural sciences, I joined the young farmers club right from my second year in the junior secondary school days through the senior year and that was how it started.
Before now I have struggled with decisions on what I want to be in future, trust me this choice are not easy to make especially when you are not born with a silver spoon in a place like Africa.
I am a goal getter and love to learn new things, I believe no knowledge is a waste. I know a bit of crypto, Forex but not very well I hope to be better some day, I also look forward to learning some other digital skills such as computer programming and the likes.
I also love music and I play the electric guitar passionately my genre of music are gospel, afripop, afrobeat and some contemporary classical music. As a means of survival and to earn more income for myself I ventured into being an entrepreneur while in school, I sold musical instruments and musical accessories to my fellow students which I still do.
I am an orphan, lost my both parents eight years ago,with that I have been determined for greatness and to do exploits.
I was introduced to hive by @starstrings01, who told me how I can showcase my talents and skills and earn alongside on this wonderful platform, I am delighted to be here and hope to gain more from this platform.
I also hope to contribute to the growth of the platform through my guitar skills and also provide agricultural tips as being taught in school and from my research, I hope to meet great minds in my field too.
I'm not great at writing I know, just developing the skill too, as I am a man of lesser words, but I express myself better on the guitar,which gives me so much joy whenever I'm playing
