Ingeniero de Profesión pero Bombero de Corazón.

A lo largo de la vida, durante el proceso de formación como ingeniero en la Universidad Nacional Experimental de los Llanos Centrales Romulo Gallegos mejor conocida como la UNERG, tome la decision de formarme como Bombero Profesional Universitario, es importante mencionar que a nivel Nacional en VENEZUELA las Universidades Publicas y Privadas (Algunas) cuentan con un Cuerpo de Bomberos Universitarios conformados por docentes, personal obrero, administrativo y estudiantes con el objetivo de salvaguardar la integridad física de todas las personas que hacen vida activa dentro de los recintos Universitarios así como las instalaciones y comunidades cercanas con extensión al municipio y/o Estado donde se encuentren.

Cabe destacar que, VENEZUELA es el único país a nivel mundial que tiene Cuerpos de Bomberos conformados dentro de las Universidades, siendo la UNERG una de estas donde durante un año estuve recibiendo adiestramiento sobre;

• Atención de Emergencias Pre-hospitalaria
• Rescate
• Ofidio y Apicola
• Control y Combate de Incendios en Vegetación y Estructurales
• Control de Accidentes con Materiales Peligroso
• Búsqueda y Rescate en Estructuras Colapsadas y Espacios Confinados
• Administración de Desastres
• Traslado Aeromedico

Egresando como Bombero Profesional Universitario el 31 de Enero del 2008,y en noviembre de ese mismo año, asumo la dirección de Gestión de Riesgo de Protección Civil Guarico llevando la responsabilidad de la mitigacion del Riesgo en los 15 Municipios que conforman dicho estado. Para el año siguiente asumo la Dirección de Operaciones de Protección Civil Guarico y el Grupo de Fuerza de Tarea Humanitaria Simón Bolivar Guarico siendo este grupo uno de los organismo Nacionales para prestar apoyo ante situaciones de calamidad a nivel internacional siendo el Terremoto de HAITI mi primera misión fuera de VENEZUELA, luego el Terremoto en ECUADOR,PERU,CHILE,ECUADOR nuevamente y JAPÓN, y es precisamente en JAPÓN donde empiezo a mostrar el interés de utilizar tecnología para labores de búsqueda de personas debajo de escombros. debido a la experiencia que pude observar con los equipos de rescate de otros paises.

Es en ese momento que nace la iniciativa de utilizar tecnología para este tipo de labores a través de los Bomberos en VENEZUELA, ya siendo Ingeniero en Informática. Comienzo a desarrollar investigaciones sobre el uso de la Robotica, Electrónica y Sistemas de Información para el apoyo directo en las labores de búsqueda y rescate de personas en estructuras colapsadas.

Es de suma importancia mencionar que, con la irrupción de la tecnología en esta área se ha logrado tener niveles de hasta 90% de posibilidad de encontrar a una persona con vida debajo de escombro lo que significa un impacto directo en la preservación de la vida durante desastres.

Soy el tipo de persona que hace lo necesario para salvar una vida, y la tecnología ha ayudado de manera eficiente a eso, por lo que seguiré investigando para que este mas presente y lleguemos al 100% de niveles de posibilidad de encontrar vida debajo de lo escombros durante un desastre.

Graduating as a University Professional Firefighter on January 31, 2008, and in November of that same year, he assumed the direction of Risk Management of Guarico Civil Protection, carrying responsibility for risk mitigation in the 15 municipalities that make up said state. For the following year I assume the Guarico Civil Protection Operations Directorate and the Simón Bolivar Guarico Humanitarian Task Force Group, this group being one of the National organizations to provide support in situations of calamity at an international level, with the HAITI Earthquake being my first mission. outside VENEZUELA, then the Earthquake in ECUADOR, PERU, CHILE, ECUADOR again and JAPAN, and it is precisely in JAPAN where I begin to show interest in using technology to search for people under rubble. due to the experience I was able to observe with rescue teams from other countries.

It is at that moment that the initiative to use technology for this type of work through the Firefighters in VENEZUELA was born, already being a Computer Engineer. I begin to develop research on the use of Robotics, Electronics and Information Systems for direct support in search and rescue efforts for people in collapsed structures.

It is extremely important to mention that, with the emergence of technology in this area, it has been possible to have levels of up to 90% of possibility of finding a person alive under debris, which means a direct impact on the preservation of life during disasters.

I am the type of person who does what is necessary to save a life, and technology has efficiently helped that, so I will continue researching so that it is more present and we reach 100% levels of possibility of finding life below what debris during a disaster.

Soy nuevo en el mundo de HIVE, como expectativa espero poder aprender y arropar el mayor conocimiento de la mano de @yonnathang de @alberto0607 de @tsunsica y en general de toda la comunidad HIVE para luego enseñar y ser multiplicador de información de esta plataforma, es muy interesante el contenido compartido y la manera segura de gestionarlo, ademas que brinda la posibilidad de compartir conocimientos en materia WEB3 y sus diferentes niveles.
