There is a big storm on the way.
Several Status Red warnings for wind spanning the entire country have been issued from the early hours of tomorrow morning, with Met Éireann warning of possible "danger to life". Winds of over 130km/h are expected.

Apparently this is going to be a big one. One of the worst that we have ever seen.
- Schools are closed tomorrow.
- Public transport.
- Workplaces.
- Emergency services.
They are expecting it to get very bad during the night and into tomorrow. Normally I take these with a pinch of salt but this one seems to be serious enough. If they give this many warnings it usually turns out better than expected whereas it's the ones they don't tell you about that do the most damage.
We have had more storms in the past few years than I can remember over my whole lifetime. The weather has changed and is changing rapidly.
I have a mate that works in the airport and he text to say that they are taking it more seriously than any other storm to date. All the signs point to a big one.
Luckily work is cancelled for tomorrow. Unfortunately schools are closed so it won't really be a day off. But we have the house well stocked ( water, food and whiskey) the essentials. Devices are charged and i spent an hour in the rain putting all the loose items from outside in the shed.
Can't do much more than that.
It is starting to pick up out there so at least I can get a little hive post out there before we lose power and internet. Hopefully not though or it will be a very long day with the kids.
If we do keep power it will give me a chance to spend some time online and try to catch up on the crypto world and everything that's going on in the crazy world right now.
