En esta ocasión decidí responder solo a la segunda pregunta ya que considero que es un tema ideal para reflexionar y equilibrar algunos pensamientos.

I'd like to take the opportunity to invite my friend @carolinacardozo to join this week's contest.
This time I decided to answer only the second question as I consider it an ideal topic to reflect and balance some thoughts.
¿Cómo describiría los rasgos de una mujer exitosa?
Cuando alguien habla de una persona exitosa, o más específicamente, de una "mujer exitosa", es inevitable pensar en esas mujeres famosas, populares, brillantes y millonarias. Aún en esta época existe ese concepto superficial y vanidoso de lo que significa la palabra éxito.
Con una concepción como esta y estándares tan altos, es muy fácil que nos podamos sentir poco exitosas o, en el peor de los casos, incluso fracasadas.
Talking about success is a bit complicated, since this word has several dimensions. It is also one of those concepts that depends a lot on the lens through which you look at it, or from the perspective from which you value it. When someone speaks of a successful person, or more specifically, of a "successful woman", it is inevitable to think of those famous, popular, brilliant and millionaire women. Even in this day and age, there is still this superficial and vain concept of what success means. With such a conception and such high standards, it is very easy for us to feel unsuccessful or, in the worst case, even unsuccessful.
As I said before, success has several dimensions; a person can be very successful at work, but in his personal life he can feel like a failure, or vice versa. Life has many nuances, to be perfectly fine in all of them is a bit difficult. So, personally, I consider that a successful woman is the one who manages, every day, to surpass herself, in each of its facets. She is the one who achieves each of the goals she has set for herself, without paying attention to the stereotypes imposed by society. A successful woman is the one who is able to be happy, even in the midst of adversities, because she knows that she will be able to overcome them and move forward.
Personally, I feel blessed to have the ability to see success in the little things in my day to day life. To finish a day, having accomplished my duties at work and at home, that is a success for me. Every time I complete one of my knitting projects, every time I write a blog post and every time I learn something new, they represent small successes that add up and make me feel like a successful woman.
