Who is responsible for inflation?

in #leofinance3 years ago

Political leaders have scrambled to blame inflation on everything but their own actions.

It's only temporary they've suggested, or it's the fault of the pandemic, it's the fault of changing shopping habits, climate change, now it's the fault of Putin and the Ukraine conflict.

The billions that were printed? That hasn't had anything to do with it.

Don't question that.

Because we are just going to keep printing more.

9 out of 10 Americans are worried about inflation right now

They've seen what has happened in places like Venezuela where inflation got out of control, it is happening in other regions too.

How bad will things get in the US before it turns around? Millions are already struggling which is why this is on the minds of billions of people right now around the world and not just in the United States.

About 8 in 10 Americans are expecting it to continue growing this year as well on the inflation front, anticipating new highs that we might be dealing with. For many this is the most urgent issue they are worried about these days, more so than any conflict overseas or pandemic situation.

The major central banks dont print legal tender. So there is a reason it has nothing to do with it. US Dollars are created when the commercial banking system makes loans, not when the Fed prints their reserves which are bank instruments.

Of the 320 million Americans, not one single individual even owned what the Fed "prints". Hence it is impossible for the Fed's "printing" to lead to higher prices.
