Horizen x Snowfall - Staking Into High-Performance Nodes

Snowfall brings masternodes, validators and staking solutions for both normies and crypto savvy people. I discovered them recently and staked some $ZEN to secure the network and earn passive income. Decentralization is not an over-hyped dream!

To celebrate the launch of the Horizen Easy Staking dashboard, Snow Fall had a promotional campaign, sharing the fees collected by the Summit Note with the stakers. Depending on the success of this promo, a second edition or modified version could be on the way. Stay tuned!

During the campaign, all holders with a minimum of 5 ZEN were able to reclaim fees collected by the node over the 10-day period. How the fees were distributed? The top 5 delegators and other 5 randomly selected delegators excluding the top 5 were eligible. The more you staked ... the higher your proportional chances of winning!

I stake $ZEN at Snowfall because I wanted to explore new protocols on Horizen EON, and to test the evolution of the chain. Snowfall uses the EON 1.4 smart contract to allow users to withdraw the ZEN staking rewards whenever they want.

Nodes are essential components in blockchain networks, acting as communication points that validate transactions and maintain the integrity of the blockchain. In staking, nodes are crucial for securing the network and enabling participants to earn rewards.

I added 14 $ZEN into the Summit Node, and the rewards started to accumulate. The Node reached 2352 staked $ZEN in a blink, and 20.69 $ZEN were distributed so far. There's a 5% performance fee on the rewards, which I think is acceptable for a single stake pool.
