I've been following what is happening inside the Thorchain team. JP which is the founder (with other members of the team) is proposing some changes about how things were working.

Some of the changes can have a positive effect in the ecosystem and it's expected that RUNE price will respond positively when all of this changes take place.

I'm excited for the future, RUNE is a game changer and I am glad I found it thanks to the Leofinance community. After researching the project I decided to jump in when the price was 1$, so far I've sold some over 10$ and I'm really happy with the profits.

The changes

It has already been voted by the anonymous nodes that the fees for swapping between 2 layer 1 assets are 15 BPS. They moved from 5 BPS to 15 BPS, it looks like a big increase, but this 15 BPS is still very LOW!!
This means that it's possible that node operators can receive their rewards via the swap fee instead of block rewards. This would mean that there is no need to give block rewards and we can get rid of them.
This is megabullish as there would be no inflation for RUNE.

In addition to that there will be another burn mecanism that will be burning RUNE overtime.
There is also more: New wallets are integrating Thorchain into their Swap routes to earn affiliate fees. This means that the volume will increase, there will be more swaps, more liquidity, etc. You already know the positive loop that would drive price up.

I am happy the project is moving in the right direction.
