Greetings Dear Readers;

.
Hope you are well....and ready to give this Principle a think.

Let's say you know nothing about Roses...if you pick one you are likely to get pricked by a thorn or even several thorns. This principle would certainly have come in handy in this case....however most things in life could use this principle of 'Look before you leap.'

It would apply when we plan a holiday....buy crypto...go sailing...etc.

And certainly the word 'Look' could be expanded to mean 'Study, Observe, Investigate....all words of thinking..using the intellect....not emotion...Emotion can be a factor but emotion is an appreciator not the decider. It is true that some use emotion as the criteria for life, however that Modus Operandi has its own pitfalls and many times boomerangs.

Thank you for visiting Principle of the Day. ^__^

Kind Regards,

Bleujay

Principles are timeless truths presented here for our ponderance.

You are too kind....Thank you @josediccus .

Most welcome

Thank you!

It's mostly like applicable to look before one buys crypto lol, because everything that looks like gold isn't actually gold.

That's a beautiful shot there as well.

Greetings @josediccus ,

So true.....your statement echos Shakespeare from 'Merchant of Venice'.."All that glisters is not gold; Often have you heard that told: Many a man his life hath sold but my outside to behold: Gilded tombs do worms enfold."

Thank you for your kind words with regard to the photography.

Appreciate your most generous tip.

Kind Regards,

Bleujay

I think I understand it will. Observe first and I like how you explained it well and differentiate intellect and emotion.

The art is beautiful just like the photo captured.😊 Thank you for sharing. 😊

Greetings @fixyetbroken ,

You do indeed. Oh yes...happy to hear you picked up on that...because emotion likes to get ahead of us and we have to know it's place in our lives, especially in decision making. ^__^

Appreciate your kind compliments with regard to the icing. My pleasure. ^__^

Cheers, Bleujay

True.. sometimes we overlook and focus on emotions making some bad decisions.

You're welcome. Have a great day ahead.😊

A great principle and fantastic photos… well done my friend!

Greetings @brian.rrr ,

How very kind of you to drop by with these fine, complimentary words....thank you. ^__^

Kind Regards to you and your good lady,

Bleujay

I completely agree with you, we must plan everything under a brain analysis so to speak and then execute

Thank you for your kind reply...I see you understand the principle...we do our best.

Cheers, Bleujay
