There are people who have a hard time moving on from the past. Maybe they have an intense emotion for a particular event that happened to them in the past so it is very difficult for them to forget it. When we are too attached to our past, we find it difficult to focus on the present and we also find it difficult to move forward in the future. When our lives are too bounded by the past, it will be difficult for us to develop as a person. Because our growth will be limited because of the fear brought by our past experiences.
We need to break this mindset because it will prevent us from achieving our fluent goals in life.
I know that past memories are important to us, but we cannot force ourselves to be open to the future. We need to move on from the past so we can learn to look forward to the future. We need to be resilient in the challenges of life regardless of our past experiences. Just think that our bad experiences in the past are what bind us and prevent our success. So in order for you to be one in your journey towards success, you have to break the chains of the past.
A good example of that is snakes. They have consistent shedding of their skin. This is one of the most difficult stages of snake growth, which is why they are so vulnerable when they are in the process of shedding. But no matter how hard it is, they still endure it because they need it to grow. It is necessary for this development. Because let's think that shedding our past is part of our growing up. That's why when we get older it is necessary for us to forget our childish playing and focus on other aspects of life. That's where you need to find a job to support yourself. You also need to build a family.
That's why it's so important to shed the past so you can think about the things you should do in your life's journey. This is a normal aspect of life for us to grow.
I would like to share with you this quote from Buddha:
"No matter how hard the past, you can always start again."
