Yesterday I experienced again the effects of a closed society and I must say I felt quite sad. I have to go to the dentist. And after so much searching and questioning about which specialist to go to, one who does his job well, my chosen specialist just won't pick up the phone.
I have had the same experience with other doctors in the city and I must say that such a thing did not happen with doctors in the neighboring, larger and regional city. There, I have had doctors answer my calls who were not even in the country at that moment, and I call that responsibility and humanity, things doctors swore by for sure at the beginning of their careers.
Well, there are many things that continue to amaze me in Bulgaria, maybe what I'm telling you about is typical only for this part here, I hope it's not everywhere. The funny thing is that we are not talking about some rich area where there are lines of patients and customers with heavy wallets full of money, so to speak. And yet, doctors don't answer their phones.
