Dead batteries

The day I told you about Shisho's feline covid, I was actually feeling really bad too. I was nauseous in the morning, then I got a headache, I couldn't do anything meaningful. It was as if some of the cat's illness was being transferred to me as well. I had chills constantly, even in a well-heated room. In the afternoon I ate a little and seemed to feel better. But shortly after that I felt even worse. There was no reason for me to get sick from anything, I haven't been around people for a week to catch anything. It was only the cat. That is why things seemed really very strange. I had to go to bed. And after a few hours, when I got up, I was a completely new person. It was all over. It was as if my batteries had just died after the lot of stress I had in the last month and could only be recharged then, during the day, not with a night's sleep. Or Shisho really had in some cat-magical way transferred some of his illness to me. 🤔 I had no way of knowing that.

Hive.jpgSoul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you.

The body need rest, that's why as soon as you go to bed, waking up, you did not feel the sickness anymore, it was a happy thing, wasn't it?

Yeah, you're right. Still it was strange, I woke up in the morning with the feeling of sickness and I had to go to bed a second time, in order to feel better. But there's no better feeling than feeling fit again. 😃

I hope Shisho will wake up feeling magically better as you did 🙏

Things don't go so magically with him. Yesterday he finished his vitamin course, which was prescribed to him remotely by a vet. There is nothing more we can do for him. And now, little by little, slowly, slowly, I think he's starting to get back into shape.
Thank you ❤️
