I can't believe it has been around 5 months since I last posted. I've dipped in every now and then but to be honest nothing too exciting has really been happening.
I did finally get around to decorating my study though which I'm very pleased with. It has only taken me 5 years to get around to doing it since we moved in.
I'm itching to get studying again so decided on Duck Egg Shell. Greens and Blues are apparently very good for settling the brain. I'm great at procrastinating so need all the help I can get! I've still got pictures and things to put up on the walls but I'm not sure where I want stuff yet. I've this limited print by Leigh Lambert which I bought a good few years ago but never got framed. It'll be nice to finally find a home for it.
The dog seems to like the additional floor space.
So, the study is finally done...well sort of. I've not got he money for replacing the curtains or lamp shades at the moment. There are a few little bits I need to touch up.
It's nice to finally have space to have my guitars in once place and also to have easy access to my iMac which I tend to use when playing. I have some recording software and also amp and effect simulators. When I do play I tend to use an audio interface with headphones to the delight of my family.
I've now just got the rest of the house to tidy. The study used to contain 3, wide floor to ceiling bookcases which have now been disposed off. Unfortunately their contents are spread around various rooms in the house. I can feel quite a few trips to charity shops coming up in the coming weeks!
