During Tough Times In Life (Such As These), You Should Always Think In Terms Of Back-Ups

in #life2 years ago

Good afternoon from Romania, fellow HIVE users as well as dear readers from both HIVE and outside of it! For today's first post here on my HIVE blog, I decided to write a bit about a very important subject, in my humble opinion at least, which is thinking in terms of back-up and building yourself a personal security net during tough times in life (such as the ones we are currently going through).

First off, I'll start by saying that we all need a certain degree of security in our lives so that we can live better and safe (which are basic human needs, after all). Going out of your comfort zone every once in a while is good, however, going too often is not. The risk associated with the latter is that you might not realize it at a particular later point and, subsequently, you will start live in the danger zone (which is very nasty indeed and you should avoid it).

In order to avoid the danger zone and also not fall too much in your comfort one, during tough times, so do I think at least, you should think in terms of back-ups in order to provide yourself a basic security net. The state is compromised beyond repair in many countries already, including, most notably, in Europe but also beyond. Thus, you need to look for yourself and your dear ones. A tremendous chance for your survival is thinking in terms of back-ups, planning for back-ups, and applying for back-ups in good time, especially in financial regards which is always a very tough and difficult topic to discuss, regardless of your fleeting economic status.

My point, in a nutshell, is the following one (transcending from an abstract zone to a more concrete one): be apprehensive, skeptical, and always on guard with respect to fake jobs online (long story short: if it's too good to be true, then it probably is). Secondly, mind your own business and build yourself a series of independent, freelance-based sources of income. Start creating something which will not be timely, such as a product by yourself (e.g. if you're an artist or a writer that could be an album of yours or a book). Then, after you release that work of yours legally out there, start selling it smart and always capitalize and invest in yourself, rather than working for someone who might not have the best interest in you.

The truth is, economically speaking at least, it's a very tough and nasty world, to say the least, and in such a world, despite some circumstances which are very negative and the current socio-political and financial status quo worldwide, freelancers can still thrive. But they can only do so, in my honest turn of mind, by investing more time and resources in themselves with their products, online platforms (such as a website integrated with Google AdSense) or in their products (books, music albums, visual art albums, etc.).

At the same time, a decentralized cryptocurrency-based blockchain such as HIVE is a major blessing for many freelance writers out there, including myself. By using it, you have the tremendous opportunity of gaining more experience, money, and satisfaction than working for someone else who, frankly speaking, doesn't give a damn about you at all.

As part of your back-up plan(s) during very difficult times, you should always keep in mind saving money and safeguarding your financial integrity. This way you will protect your economic reputation in the long run and be able to live better and help others in need while at the same time forging great collaborations with people who will want to work more with you. Therefore, to conclude, as a freelancer you should always think in terms of back-ups and apply this mindset in your day-to-day financial life. Start small and then, gradually, go to a moderately well-off status. It's not that difficult, but it requires time, hard work, patience, resilience, dedication, and a lot of hope. You can make it! God bless you and plenty of success!
