Interesting to evaluate some of our predispositions and look at it from a different angle!

In this case, I think living is the main objective and learning is one of the results. We can definitely better those results by considering what we learn consciously. I would rather experience a mistake while striving than avoid striving to make sure I had learned enough to increase the chances of success but that is just me.

I see so many people (even myself when I look closely enough) weighing risk too heavily and in analysis paralysis which hinders action and progress. Obviously there are exceptions when the risks are higher (like in your electrician example!) but it would come down to balance if we are doing it optimally.

Love these! Kinda in the spirit of my Zeke Thoughs posts!

Greetings @zekepickleman ,

Thank you for dropping by and giving the Principle a hearing.

Yes...we really do both in life... ^__^

In my studies...sometimes I find them a bit of a slog and yet when exam time/practical application comes..I am grateful for the time well spent...thus the thought of the reverse...learn and live...bringing meaning/definition to the experience that I may not have had otherwise.

I would venture to say in your case...you enjoy your beer much more than the average lad as you have a far greater knowledge base of the subject. For Bleujay...simply learning about Growlers...brought smiles (living).

As you say we can analyse ourselves right out of anything...so we have to make the call....live and learn or learn and live... ^__^

Kind Regards, Bleujay

Had a look at your 'Thoughts'..interesting...Yes...Bleujay is for what assists in giving persons a moment of pause to have a think about something that perhaps they have not given any thought to before....which is what you have there...Lovely!
