Introduction
@ablaze has been doing 3 tune Tuesday for quite a while and we love the idea of it and some of the posts @stickupmusic has been doing it but I though I would join in too. it is a great way to listen to new music which is always something we want to do!
Our picks
This week we are all about the brilliant Cuban music of Roberto Fonseca. A member of the Buena Vista Social club is a multi instrumentalist producer from Cuba. The reason I a am writing about him is we saw him in Brighton at the weekend and he was so fabulous and I wanted to explore his recorded music. His band are some of the best musicians around and the guy really knows how to put on a show. They were flawless as musicians and his gravitas and skill as a performer were second to none. It really was one of the best concerts I have been to for a long time, not only was the skill of the musicians highlighted but also the pure entertainment, showmanship and audience participation made it a great night out.

Song 1
Ok this first one is nice and bright with a catch lyric chorus. He had four thousand people singing along in Brighton and I will definitely remember it. It is a pure fun mambo song this one and is definitely good for setting up the good vibes!
Song 2
Here is s slower song he did, I think written for his mum as he talked a lot about the roots of each song. It is a pure and powerful piece and shows him off in his true light. His soul and touch as a musicians really comes across in this stripped back live performance.
Song 3
Now my third pick is a fun party song! Baila Mulata has a classic feel that makes you feel like you could be somewhere in Cuba or South America. great arranging, like all his songs, the brass are spectacular. I mean I dare you to listen to this and not move a muscle...its feeling, rhythms and melodies means you have to move something and maybe have a little smile while you listen to it!
We love all types of music and hope that you like our choices!
Big up all the music in the world and the joy we get making and listening to it!
