Hi everyone.
Two weeks from today on 09.02.2024. New Ugochill single featuring The Turtle Project (@theturtleproject) titled "No More" will be released.
Time to say a bit more about this collaboration.
As I was working on the upcoming Ugochill album "Chill em All" (it took years) I had various changes of plans.
Exactly for that very same reason I was reluctant to begin for my part with collaborations as it was not easy for me to keep up with schedules or promises and adding to it, I had serious lack of time and equipment.
My attitude with Music was always kind of non-compromising.
Or it is done properly or nothing.
On my own it was easy to deal with all those issues.
I did collaborate often but as a guest.
As things started to change in favor of making music, my attitude towards collaborations changed too in a positive manner.
Still, the album "Chill em All" is an intimate project made in an intimate environment meant to close one chapter of my life and open another.
With some Guitar based Instrumental music.
So, I thought I will first finish this, and simultaneously also begin with collaborations, but outside of the plans for the album.
New fresh ideas, for new collaborations.
The Turtle Project, (https://theturtleproject.wixsite.com/theshell) awesome and highly talented Indie Artist from Wales (UK) is one of many cool indie artists I had privilege to meet and become friends with in the last decade and more of networking within Indie Music World.
Most I met via Indie Music Portal, Atom Collector Records (@atomcollector) that was founded by Juxta (@juxtamusic) same person who later founded Rising Star Game as well (@risingstargame)
This is already a long post, it will get much longer if I try to describe it all.
In short it became obvious that Portal succeeded in attracting very nice group of artists from all around the world.
We met each other, supported each other, tons of collaborations were being made.
Years later, most of us are stil in touch, became good friends, some I met in person.
Hive and Rising Star Game project came along.
Our friendships as the time went by became tighter and tighter.
I became fan of The Turtle Project years ago. Mesmerizing voice and music and very cool person behind it all.

The first collaboration I have initated is with him and Juxta. The track is dedicated to and meant for the Rising Star Game, and it will also be released and presented quite soon.
Simultaneously I was finishing "Chill em All' album, but there was one track that was meant to be just another Instrumental for the album, that just did not feel as Instrumental.
It was obvious demo for some song.
As we were already in touch (previously I also recorded some guitars for The Turtle Project and we were working on the track meant for the game) I got an idea.
Let's Ask the Turtle Project if he is willing, and send him this demo and we'll see what happens.
It was summer last year. He said yes, I sent a demo to him and went on vacation.
When I came back from it, I opened my discord and saw a message from The Turtle Project, with a download link to the whole set of vocals.
When I loaded them into the track and pressed play...wow..
It was perfect, completely finished vocal that clicked so well with the music.
I was so happy...This sort of stuff you cannot plan. It was so spontaneous, natural, complimentary.
So, the album Chill em All got one more change of plans.
It won't be 9 Instrumental tracks. It will be 8 Instrumentals and one Song.
Song, "No More" featuring The Turtle Project...I can hardly wait for it's release. I hope you will enjoy hearing it, as much as I have enjoyed working on it.
For The Turtle Project it is nothing new to collaborate. He made many many collaborations with whole variety of artists.
I'm also looking forward in having many collaborations with variety of artists.
Here, I will close this post with one such collaborative track with funny twist.
