Growing My HP
I set the goal of hitting the 10,500 Hive Power mark before the year began. I powered up 100HP during HPUD (Hive Power Up Day) which had me sitting around 10,350 HP. I thought it would be quite the goal to hit if I managed 150 Hive Power earnings through author rewards as-well as curation returns.
I've steadily been on track when last week I was sure I would not make it, the dip in the price of Hive has seen curation values drop as voting power dwindles but I'm sure it'll return in full force soon enough.
I've been aiming to be consistent with my posting, although some days are better than others when I tend to get lazy. I really should pre-plan my posts or perhaps write some in advance to schedule via drafts. But those can be thoughts for another day, I still would have no idea what to write about!
For the past month, I have steadily been growing minus my 100HP power-up spike. 😅 I might not earn the most in author rewards compared to others, I try my best to write and within the communities I enjoy. I should aim to branch out more but I do tend to get lost in all things Hive. So many communities, platforms, rules. etc
But, it is beneficial to be a known face around many places, especially in a community-centred blockchain.
With my up-and-coming rewards for the next 7 days, I should see myself hitting 10,500.648 HP exactly. With 3 days to spare before February begins and we set ourselves some new goals all over again! 😁
I mention it weekly but I do want to increase my HBD savings, due to the price of $HIVE dropping lower and lower I can't help but get my hands on any I can with my HBD earnings. So my current savings are nothing to write home about.
When the time comes where the price of $HIVE increases and I can take some profits, I will be depositing it within the saving feature and collecting my interest! It has always been a very long-term Hive goal of mine.
So perhaps it would be ideal to start slowly adding a certain amount of dollars per month towards the fund. I will think on this as I sit on my current HBD, unless the price drops even further then which I would most likely do a trade up. But if the price rises and we cannot purchase more Hive, I will be depositing all HBD earnings going forward into my pool.
LEO POWER
I've slowly been increasing my Leo-Power week by week as my post earnings come through as-well as slight LEO earnings through microblogging on inleo. I do find it very fun to post short-form content, my thoughts, and engage with others. It's been a very great addition to inLeo!
I would love to hit the 500 Leo-Power mark soon, I am unsure the length of time it would take me without purchasing LEO off the open market, earning it through self published works such as this post just feel much more rewarding to me.
