Glad December is out the way

So as much as I like Christmas, it's one of the most busiest times of the year for me. All of our family get together; I get to see my brother and sister in law and my nieces and nephews. It's quite the packed event. I'm rushing around several days before Christmas and rushing around several days afterwards.

As much as I love it, it is very very busy!

Are you glad that it's over too?

Not much happened over Christmas in crypto land, and our wallets are for sure empty I bet; after buying presents and games and meals out, or whatever your heart desires this season. Me? Perhaps I've eaten a little too much. As you all know that's perhaps one of my weaknesses, hah.

So now I'm of reduced portion sizes and fruit for snacks as a sort of January detox.

Now it's back to the grind.

This is the year the masses will find crypto.

I said it last time around that big business was in and I thought the bull was here to stay. I was wrong, and I perhaps forfeited a lot of good healthy liquidity on that mistake, and I wont be making it again.

I forgot to factor in that retail usually follows in a few years after. You have to give big business time to develop tools and utilities to get this stuff decent enough for the masses to be able to use it, and feel safe using it.

Think of it as like drawing a parallel between the dot com boom, and the upcoming crypto boom. What do I mean by that? Well...

I have been an internet user since 2016, before Internet was cool, when publicly telling people that you had a website was more likely to get your head shoved down the toilet than revered as someone with skills and experience.

Then, places like Amazon, PayPal and eBay showed the business world what could be possible on the internet were you to use it honestly and relatively safely. How you could build trust with consumers if you just -- did what they asked and provided them with a service.

That's when Steve Jobs came along with his iPhone and put it out in the world. I remember when visiting my friend once -- someone who previously thought the internet was a load of rubbish and it was for nerds, proudly showing me his cool new phone with all the amazing stuff it can do.

Very quickly, the internet became global. We didn't have many places back then that we could build on, or blog on, or pretty much do anything with. User experience was very limited until the iPhone came along and pushed it to the world. Then, the world was reimagined.

This is coming to the world this year. I'm sure of it. And we're going to try and capitalize on it!

Hold onto your hats folks, it's going to be a wild, wild ride :D

Peace!

Im very happy christmas wasn't tha busy over here. We tend to bounce a lot of appointments to keep it doable for everyone without going nuts.

As for crypto....today hurts a little...but maybe this will be the start of the run of runs coming up for this year? I sure hope so!! Happy crypto hunting wished to you this year bro!

Ohh hello stranger :) - nice to see you back on my feed!

I was using Friendster back in the days I was amazed by the falling leaf background while your chatting with someone. Now you have web3 specially Hive where you can engage and earn. It will be a wild ride this year for sure!

I think it will be :)
