Man, i am so fucking hyped to finally play this game.

When Alan Wake came out and i played it, it blew my mind with how good the writing and story was. It felt like i was playing a good book. Then, continuing playing it and i found it to be good with everything, across the board! The writing was fucking good, the story was fucking enthralling, the gameplay felt good as hell. It was an all round solid (written in massive, marble, Impact typeface letters) game and i was in it from start to finish!

I've been rocking a GTX970 for the last, maybe, decade or more, but now that my 970 started dying on me i' made the jump and i'm rocking an RTX 3060 with 12GB of VRAM and i'm going to blast the shit out it and play Control with the highest graphic settings, hook my ears directly into the headphones in a way that they're pressed up against the magnets and just fucking go!

I played a bit of Quantum Break when it came out, but my GPU wasn't having it; it was able to hanlde them game but it lagged at some points - and that's no way to experience a game. Plus, i didn't find the mix of game and tv show appealing, at all. Who knows, maybe i'll play it at some point.

I also gave Control a go with the 970 but yeah, the 970 couldn't handle it.

But now that i was "forced" to buy a new GPU, man am i fucking hyped to play Control; so much so that i fucking watched the godman credits before i even started playing the game. And what band played the music during the end credits? Fucking Porcupine Tree!

Haven't even started the game and already i'm feeling the Remedy stamp! And Remedy are just a fucking pristine of a goddamn developer studio! Even with Quantum Break's game/tv show format - it seems they are like 5 star chefs of the gaming industry; everything's so good that they even dare to change up the recipe of what a game is!

Alan Wake's American Nightmare was a glitch in the Matrix. Nobody's perfect.

Next, it'll be Alan Wake 2!

See you in 5 months!
