Any extremism is just another form of the worse, but pretending that you are yourself above it, that you are excluded and consoled to a toxic idea of us and them is more than enough to cause a disaster.
Being ambivalent and tranquil within yourself is just escapism, you can't stick your head into the sand if there is no sand anymore and sand ... doesn't care anyway.
