I've made a few videos and posts about my Canon M50 which I've owned for about 3 years now. Frequently people would ask me about some negative aspects of the camera, of which there are a few, and I'd usually talk about one of these four things.

I figured I'd make a video addressing the four things I dislike the most about this camera, and why you may not want to buy this camera in 2023 if any one of these is a deal breaker for you. Besides, there have been many entry-level cameras targeted at content creatures that have come out since I got this one that are now much better. Granted, the cost of this camera will be hard to beat in the the mirrorless camera department, but some small DSLRs, like the Canon D2000, are small enough and are cheaper.

You can also find some great deals in the second-hand market. Some of Sony's new vlogging cameras are so much more suited for content creation that the Canon M50 is. They are, however, a little pricey which is why looking in the refurbished/preowned market, such as on Amazon Refurbished, or eBay, may save you a good chunk of money. This is especially since a lot of people upgrade their equipment annually! It means you can actually find some great deals of cameras that are hardly used, if at all, and are recently newly released.
