With some engagement sessions, there is just a chemistry that is undeniable. That was definitely the case with Brooke & Jared. From the moment they stepped in front of the lens, she was comfortable. Jared followed her lead and from there, we were able to create some magic.
We were in Hermann, Missouri which is known for it's Octoberfest celebrations and wine. Yes, believe it or not, Missouri does have some wine country and Hermann was pretty much the start of it for this part of the country. So this October photoshoot hit the mark perfectly for weather, colors, and drinking wine!
We visit two local wineries: Stonehill and Oak Glenn. Of the two, I felt Stonehill had the most options for great photos. Oak Glenn certainly had some picturesque views, but when it came to this session, I'd pick Stonehill for sure.
We had great fun with Brooke & Jared! This was a fantastic warmup session for there spring wedding next year in St. Louis and I think they now certainly feel comfortable with our direction, style, and workflow...which believe it or not, makes a huge difference come wedding day.
