Snow Pics with Chloe

Chloe is from Arizona and this was one of the few times she gets to see snow! Visiting her grandfather's farm in Missouri for Thanksgiving, she decided it would be a great time to have some senior photos and capture memories of one of her favorite locations. She had no idea that mother nature would provide a unique and perfect background for her photoshoot.

She doesn't see herself as being photogenic...but we beg to differ! She has a great natural smile, takes direction very well, and was up to try anything. After taking a few photos and showing her in camera how they looked, she commented "that isn't what I look like". We were quick to comment back, "that's exactly what you look like! The camera doesn't lie!". It's always fun to help younger people see themselves from a different perspective.

It was a fun photoshoot with Chloe and we wish her all the best in her journey after graduation!

Yeah, Chloe is beautiful. Guess it’s that modern day dysmorphia.

And social media certainly hasn't improved the younger generations perspective of how they see themselves.

She's a pretty girl, it really is too bad she doesn't find herself photogenic. Social media can be so unhealthy for young women, for all the pluses it adds to the world I find the minuses are almost worse. I was fortunate to grow up before the internet and social media.

I hear it all too often during a photo session. Like you, I was fortunate enough to group up before the internet and social media. Of course there were magazines that had similar influence, I just don't think it was nearly as prevalent and definitely not in your face 24/7 like social media is today.

All the fashion magazines with the super models on the cover had that same influence I agree. But these young people today are tied to it 24/7 just like you say. Life was simpler in a lot of ways when we grew up.

By the way, great photos you captured of her! She really is rather photogenic!
