Ferns, Flowers, Berries, and Dead Trees

in #photography4 months ago

There are a lot of dead trees in my area. Ash trees are all dead and falling, and they have been for several years. I hear a lot of squeaks when it's windy. When those trees fall, it's like shattered glass. They break apart in mid air and turn to pieces. I've heard about several recent incidents of trees falling on moving cars. A lady was recently killed in my area at a red light when a tree fell over and killed her.

I've been having moderate success growing native ferns in containers. That's among my many assets I can hopefully sell. There's plenty of them. My mind has been racing ever since I departed my job. I'm asset rich but I'm not sure if I'll be able to pay my bills and keep what I've worked so hard for for so long by just hustling. I've been building a plant inventory for a long time by poaching, taking rooted plants and cuttings from landscaping clients, and buying mother plants. I might sell garden fresh produce at home on the weekends. I want to sell jams and jellies, but I can't afford to do it legally at this time. I can still sell candles and soap. I've always had good luck doing store to store solicitations in the city, but I have to sell very cheap in order to sell anything. At least I'm not lazy!
