Every year, I direct, produce, and film numerous music videos, usually for a variety of artists — ranging from pop music to alternative genres, and even all sorts of metal bands. Interestingly, aside from alternative music, I don't listen to any of these other genres, but for some reason, I end up working with these bands. If I were to add up all the views on my music videos, the total would probably be around 50 million. Is that a lot? Well, I don't think so. I always say that numbers don't matter; what matters is the quality of people who watch your work. For me, these numbers are just something to brag about, which, honestly, I don’t do.
So, why am I writing this post? Recently, I noticed that another music video I produced and directed reached the milestone of 1 million views. These "millions" here and there always make me happy because when YouTube first started, hitting that number felt like being on top of the world. Nowadays, it's easier but still hard to reach it.
We can look at the fact that videos related to our blockchain typically only get a few thousand views. From what I've seen, the most-viewed video on Hive had only around 10k views (Correct me if I'm wrong). This is also why I switched my focus this year to creating more high-quality Hive relate content that is watchable and enjoyable for anyone, anywhere in the world. This is why I film as much as I can for Hive, for projects on Hive and I genuinely want to involve in a lot — you can see most of my videos here. HERE - HIVE DOCU
Below are some screenshots from the one-million milestone music video I'm talking about. I just wanted to share them because, well, why not?
