After reading the last post of my good friend @xrayman, i realized how much I miss the warm sunny weather! Good thing is, Portugal is the european country with more hours of sun per year, so I'm expecting more and more opportunities to bask in sunlight, as Spring comes.
And best way to remember the sunny days, is to remember some awesome beaches around the globe that I have been fortunate enough to discover, starting with my own country!
These two were taken south of the country, where countless hidden gems are still undiscovered by the crowds. Been a while since I've visited this part of the country, tough; the last beach I was in? Cabe Verde, to wrap last year in style!
In this area the sea is a bit rougher, but truth be told, just a couple km to the west and the water is a lot calmer, and crystal clear!
Since this is a "round the world" post, and Europe and Africa have been represented, let's go to Asia! Langkawi, a small island in Malaysia, is also a beach paradise.
Crystal clear water? Check
Stunning nature all around? Check.
Hot weather? Check!
Do I remember other beach that checks these three marks? Yep, I do!
Arriving in America, here's one of the beauties in Cayo Largo, Cuba!
Definitely, travelling is one of life's biggest pleasures. Still haven't left the country this year, but can' wait to add more places and beaches to my travel list; as the saying goes, travelling is one of those things where spending money makes you richer!
