I started my tertiary Education, 2019 with all intention of learning on Good Education Environment. My learning environment from Junior secondary school was poor. All I hoped for was to see a difference in the University. I got admitted to one off the prestigious Federal university in Nigeria after Taking Jamb and Post-Ume twice. Second time landed me my admission.
When I got in I thought I will see different teaching mechanism that wasn't the case. It's a repeated deficiency. Some of the Deficiency Includes;
- Poor Facilities
- Uncomfortable Learning lecture room.
- Deficiency in Practical Experiment
- Bribery and Corruption.
- Lecturers are willing to teach because of the Government is holding many months salaries.
The picture shows the learning environment of students from different department learning a particular course.
What are the challenges Students Face;
- Poor Sound system
- Poor Ventilators
- Poor Lecturing techniques etc
The cry of Students is always there. We can't hear what the lecturer is teaching. The Government has kept def ear to the cry of the students.
Can we get a better Education from this? the answer is 100% Zero.
The school system, all faculties are suffering from this syndrome in all Federal university in this part of Africa 🌍
