Some Hunts [& Stories] Along TCS Rd

in #photostory5 days ago

We were traversing the Tagudin - Cervantes - Sabangan Rd in Bauko and I was drawn to the clear sky, the strange cloud formation, and the mountains in the distance when the hubby commented about the sinking section. Noticing I could have them all in one or two clicks, I took the shots.

It didn't occur to me that I had also photographed a nice shadow of the heavy equipment until today while perusing my gallery. I think it's okay to share them now in participation to the Show Me A Shadow (SMASh) challenge by Melinda.

While checking the place on the map, I realized that the structure we saw that day which we thought to be a skeleton was actually a house (check the screenshot via the map, second pic below). How sad it must

"It's so unfortunate for someone who built his house in this problematic section," the hubby said as we drove past the area.

We have no idea about the place's history but I felt for the house owners. They must have been forced to vacate their home for safety reasons. We hoped they found a safer ground for their new abode.

Anyhow, some five minutes later that day and on the same highway, we passed by Panda Cafe and the Clark Fuel Station. We thought we could check out the Hotel and Resort but changed our minds when we noticed it had a gate so we assumed one must book before he would be allowed entry. I just took a few shots of the place's entrance/driveway. The shadows of stuff (signages, Panda's head, plant pots, etc) are quite cool so I'm including them as well :)

Oops, my Lil Guy's head was out the window and got included in the pic, although it didn't have any shadow😁 But yeah, he seems to enjoy sightseeing so his head gets a lot of pics whenever I'm capturing photos while on the run.

Well, there ends my photostory for the day. We will be on the road again to uncle's place for the last day of aunt's wake and will stay until the next day for the burial. If we don't take another route, we will be passing by the same area where we took the pics above for I want to snap some photos of the giant Panda and the painted nails :)

Until then, I wish everyone a lovely (Sun)day :)

Except for the screenshot from Worldmappin, all other pictures are my own. 14092024/23:30utc

So unfortunate for the owner of that house. Imagine the expenses and sacrifices to build a house🫤. Those were nice shadows btw😁♥️.

Happy Sunday, dear friend

Wait wait wait.
You said you took a screenshot using Worldmappin. Right? I didn't know about it.
How did you do it?

Some cool shadows and I too feel for the owner of the house. Oh the weird cloud formation...Is it a man in a barber chair? Haha

What did the shark say when he ate the clownfish?
This tastes a little funny.
