Social media matters in the world of today. Pretending that it doesn't is, well.. silly. Even our blockchain uses twitter and discord to amplify its message. Although personally I'd rather it did many more. But that's another story for a different day.
Gifu's core selling point is our gif strategy -- for instance as we grow in size it will be far easier to raid media channels with our arsenal of gifs, pique curiosity amongst users and drive engagement.
As the age of information grows, people are more and more opting for quicker and easily consumable content. Media consumption needs to be bite sized and easily digestible -- at least at the start, anyway.
When I was young, you could entice people with a good book or a good film review, but these days, where people have information almost coming out of our noses, where it's thrown at us from every angle and every corner, it's not that we have become stupider, but more so our filters and blinkers have strengthened.
You need a good hook to reel someone in. The first 15 seconds of any sell is probably the most important part of your arsenal -- that's why gifs are so easily sellable.
Have you ever heard a song on the radio and thought, "Oh my god, that song is terrible" and yet it plays so often that before long you begin to think that it's a catchy tune? Advertisements are like that too -- and that's why if we can get people to consume our content, or at least use our gifs, that it will bring amazing brand awareness.
That's why we'll be starting gifs on tiktok, and soon YouTube. I'm currently doing them on twitter as well, and I think twitter has so much more to offer us down the line. It'll bring us another avenue to reel people in and promote our wares.
Personally I think we have a really good selling point with this one, and that's why we are doing it.
