Although Splinterlands can be played for free, you need to purchase a $10 spellbook in order to participate in the game and earn cryptocurrency and NFT assets. Spellbooks can be purchased using fiat money or cryptocurrency. You can start earning cryptocurrency coins by taking part in rank games, tournaments, and guild brawls after you have a spellbook. Playing rank games and gathering reward chests are more ways to earn NFT. NFT can be purchased from players directly or through the market.

THE CARDS - The card comes in two foil variations, common and gold. Splinterlands cards come in four different rarities: epic, legendary, rare, and common. You have a choice in the game between six different types of elements on cards and one neutral card. By merging them, you can improve your card. The rarity and kind of foil on the card determine how many BCX are required. There are nine other versions of the cards: Alpha, Beta, Untamed, Dice, Promo, Reward, Chaos, Riftwatchers, and Rebillion, which will be released soon.

ELEMENTS - Splinterlands have 6 elements Fire, Water, Life, Death, Earth, and Dragon. Each elements have own summoners and units.
SUMMONERS - You can choose summoners for each element that give the units additional abilities. You can choose another element unit to combine with dragon units if you choose to use dragon summoners. You can also choose one more elemental unit to combine with the neutral summoners, except for the dragon unit. Depending on the league, the unit's rarity, and the summoners' rarity, you can call forth a max-level unit.

UNITS - Per elements have own units. each unit have own abilitis and attack mode. thier are 4 kinds of attack mode: No attack, ranged, melee, and magic.
THE BATTLE
The five types of fight modes available in Splinterlands are tournament, brawl, rank, practice, and challenge. Participate in rank, brawl, and tournament play to gain cryptocurrency. every modes have two format the modern and wild format. The Modern Format is compsed of Chaos, Riftwatchers, untamed and dice edition card while the wild format or also known us all edition card is alpha, beta, Chaos, Riftwatchers, untamed and dice edition card
BRAWL - You can only participate in braw by joining the guild.
TOURNAMENT - There are to many tournament you can participate in the splinterlands. Each tournament have different reward. The league and reward of the tournament it will depends on the organizer of the tournament.
RANK - There are six kinds of leauge in the rank: Novice, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Daimond and Champ each leauge have required rating. you can only earn sps and reward chest in bronze up to champ league.
TIPS FOR THE BEGINNERS
I recall that in July 2021, before I made my Splinterslands investment. Constantly play in practice mode. to learn how to play the game. I stayed in bronze 3 for about one months. Reaching bronze 1 will make me happy. I look for opportunities to join the Splinterlands community on social media sites like Facebook and ask other players what card to rent and how to improve my game play. The following I learn in splinterlands.
Learn from your mistake - If you lose in your battle check where your mistake. It's about the positioning or the summoner you use in the battle.
Always remeber the abilities and ruleset - Other players frequently make the mistake of forgetting the game's rules or a card's abilities after upgrading or downgrading to a lower level.
Watch other player game battle - To get some idea in the battle watch other battle of the player specially player in the leader board.
Card Positioning - In the game, card positioning is crucial. You'll see that one side will prevail if all of your cards are nearly identical but are positioned differently on the battlefield. Sometimes a low-level card prevails in a battle even when your opponent possesses a high-level card that is identical to yours but in a different location.
Join in the community - Getting involved in the Splinterlands community is one of the finest methods to accelerate your success. You can exchange tips with other members of the community to enhance your Splinterlands gaming. Like me, I join a Facebook group conversation with one of the Splatterlands streamers. Too many inexperienced players are asking questions in the group chat to help them become better players.
