Declared Terrorist

I've been closely following the death of the CEO, the apprehension of Luigi and the media coverage of it all. But honestly, this move I did not see coming.

His celebrity status is without a doubt a big problem for the status quo and as such, it needs to be drowned out. They've made it a point to smear the man as a lunatic (I don't agree with his actions, needless to say), pretending that none of what he did made sense at all.

I fear however, this is having something akin to the Streisand effect, and not really working as they intended. New polling just came out, and for the average joe Luigi is a hero, something shocking but not unreasonably so.

Declaring him a terrorist however, that move is probably the craziest attempt to kill all embers left of the fire. Why a terrorist? Well, you see, terrorist don't have rights. They don't get trials, they don't get due process. It makes sense if you are trying to scare any Luigi wannabe into compliance.

The picture that showed up in my feed says a million words. An army, a freaking squad for one guy who can't hurt a soul in those shackles to begin with.

Listen, they are sending a clear message in the hopes that the phenomena dies with the same man who started it.

These are crazy times and it's hard to know what's normal, but they guy is a murderer. Deciding what counts as terrorism can be hard. They are obviously taking no chances with others who see themselves as 'fighting injustice' and there's too many guns around in the US.

last thing the US needs is for the gun lovers to turn into vigilantes, that's for sure.
