Three Love and Nature for Tuesday

The hot weather is subsiding and I can walk outside without sweating or risking heat stroke. It's time to go back to nature. You can go back to nature in the place that you are at by listening to music. You can go outside your back door or you can say hi to your house plants. You don't have to go far to be in nature.

When we are working all day we don't think of taking the time to smell the roses. It has to be a conscious effort to do what should be such a natural thing, to enjoy nature. The kids at school do it well. After lunch they walk around the school yard looking for bugs. They run up to me and say, "Teacher, look! It's a basketball bug." We only have a little space but our kids planted herbs and tomatoes. It looks good enough to make a pasta.

So the conclusion is go into the country no matter where you are or what you are doing. Even if the air isn't country sweet you can enjoy some herbs and flowers and smile that you are alive today.

Concrete Jungle - Bob Marely

This song calls out, "Where is the love to be found?"
The world seems like "concrete jungle" but there is still is hope to be free.

Just listen to the beat and the voice of Bob Marely and you will see there is joy and love all around us... even in this "concrete jungle".

Back to the Earth - Jason Mraz

If you are in need of Ukulele and silly rhyming lyrics then this Jason Mraz tune should put you in the mood. The song reminds us of our roots. It's not a song about going to the moon, but a song about living here and now on earth.

There is a point of this song I feel like running outside like a little two year old. You know how little two year old kids run outside. They don't ask. They don't get ready. They don't even put their clothes on. They just run outside forgetting everything that constrains them.

Going Up the Country - Canned Heat

I wish I could more flute in pop music today, but instead music is saturated with AI. These guys are 100% human. Sure, they are high, but they are having fun even in their shoogie boogie little dance.

Most of us live in crazy crowded cities and have to work with basket cases all day. It's time to go down to the country even if that means we have to stay. I have learned to be content either way.

How was your day?

I hope this music made it a little brighter.
