Life Lately; Project Saving for a New Computer

in #proofofbrain5 months ago

Hey fren. I hope you had a fabulous weekend. Mine was wonderful. I spent my time creating and editing more content for my latest hobby - becoming a content creator. My niche is not specific; mostly lifestyle and documenting anything I consider interesting about me - food, workout, work, etc. I’ve only just begun with three videos out but if you wish to follow me, my Instagram handle is: @sugarcuddles_ and on TikTok: @sugarcuddles

Editing my videos is not an easy task but I’m enjoying the learning process. Still working on time management as it is quite challenging and time consuming. Today, I shared a little cucumber salad recipe and decided to do a voice-over to go with it. I had to do over eight takes to get one that was satisfactory. It doesn’t help that I’m a perfectionist and obsess over the littlest detail. It’s taking me a lot of courage to share parts of myself on these platforms like I’m used to doing here.

Anyways, the biggest thing on my mind lately has been getting a new computer since my old one decided it didn’t want to be in use anymore, and I don’t blame it. This phase or this project of getting a new computer has taken me through a series of different emotions and states of mind. At first, I felt frustrated. Frustrated because I wasn’t immediately in a position to get a new one.

Next I felt even more frustrated, because I couldn’t get my work done. I had just began to find my foot in the product design department before my PC packed up, so I wasn’t at all happy about it. Soon after, I came to acceptance of my new fate. I started using my phone to do something of my crypto tasks that are supported on mobile.

The next phase I entered was one of strategizing on how to get myself a laptop. Safe to say my strategy has left me nothing but hope and I’m holding on to that. Sacrifices will have to be made including powering down what’s left of my hive power. But, I know it’ll be all worth it. I have also been forced to cut down on my spendings and lean towards the bare necessities. All of which I’m okay with.

I cannot wait till I’m unboxing a new computer. I look forward to the thrill and all the wonderful opportunities that I’m sure will come with it. Powering down my HP also means I have to put in work to get it back up.

Wish me luck in all my many endeavors.
Thank you for stopping by. ❤️
