Will HBD Regulation become one result of the LUNA UST de-pegging disaster ? 👀

Hopefully HBD doesn't go under the microscope durning the next wave of stable coin regulations that are sure to be triggered by the UST de-pegging event that collapsed Terra Luna's UST stable coin. I doubt HBD will have any stable coin regulation problems anytime soon, but once HIVE and HBD start seeing some serious user adoption and growth over the next couple of years, we might want to have a plan ready just in case the feds decide to take a good hard look.

HBD is nothing like UST - they say now!

I remember before the de-pegging a lot of people would say things like HIVE is the next LUNA, lol! Now they're all mum. Maybe HIVE can take over where LUNA left off, without a de-pegging event. This LUNA UST crash might just be a golden opportunity for us to step in and fill their big empty shoes and show the world how a real stable coin can operate. We're going to have to do something, pretty soon the feds are going to be knocking at our door asking a million questions about HBD, I how we're ready!

What about LUNA?

Is Luna going to come back? Mathematically LUNA can't ever get to one dollar. If we're lucky, maybe a few cents, maybe a dime right away. Maybe in a few years LUNA Classic will be like ETC and get u to where HIVE is now, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

The new LUNA, (if hard-forked) surely will have some supporters left, and probably will trade up around a dollar initially. I think buying LUNA pre-fork might be a possible money maker if you buy in before the 27th. If you do participate in this gamble, then don't invest more than you are comfortable losing. I put in a few hundred bucks on the dip, and now i'm waiting to strike it rich like the rest of them Lunatics. Luckily I didn't have any LUNA before the de-pegging event, so I have some cushion.

Nobody knows the future, but one thing we do know is that these kind of events don't happen every day, & uncharted territory often is associated with greatest risk, and great possible rewards.

Right! Heads up HBD. That pic is too good!! 😆

Super fantastic information

I think so

Hive has been taking steps to being more and more like Nushares and Nubits. The long powerdown time kept voters conservative in monetary policy. By shifting from the long half year power down, voters don't need to think so long term. Still voters should be wary of allowing HBD to go above 30% of combined marketcap. What happened to all of that demand for UST overnight? It was all hot money.

There is too much supply side economics around HBD. If many people want HBD its price will rise and the pegging mechanism will correct that up to the allowable amount of HBD. Terra and Luna followed Nushares and Nubits, perhaps its time to get out of HBD.

What you mean, Hive is still 3 months power down???

Posted using LasseCash

Not so, it is currently 13 weeks.

if I remember correctly, the original Steem period for powering down was six months. The reasoning was to have only those with diamond commitment to actually have control over monetary policy. Then it was reduced to three months to let those with wooden hands in. Then it was reduced to thirteen weeks. Now people want to reduce it even further. The Terra/Luna network has argued for longer powerdown times for those who vote on monetary policy better than @dan ever could.

if I remember correctly, the original Steem period for powering down was six months.

2 years initially.

That must have been in the first months or so? Because I came on Steem it before, Daniel and Ned was interview in a video by Tatiana Moroz, explaining to the world what they have made, and I dont think there was 2 years power down period when I entered...

but a lot of shady stuff happened back then, there was also the high inflation and ninja mine...

And where are Dan and Ned, now??? gone just like most of the people that profitted at the launch... very shady behaviour...

and now Hive is ran by BALLHEADs that cannot even show their identity or face... aggressive people doing a lot of deception...

So glad LasseCash came to the rescue

oh it was themarkymark I wrote to? My bad I didnt even pay attention to that... I dont want contact with you... but this one comment was actually something... but yes I came on steemit well before you.. so I am way more OG then you... plus you are a ballhead..

What is your real name?? And which city in the US do you live in??? There are many people that would like to know that??? after all you ruined!!!

Other then that stay far away from me and LasseCash!!!!

Well 13 weeks is rougly 3 months, so I think you are confused, I have been around since 2016 and I think you are right it was 6 months back then, but I am not sure if I remember correctly.

I can tell you that I almost only use LasseCash and we have 26 weeks (roughly 6 months powerdown) to incentivize longterm mentality.

I sold most of my Hive, only left some Hive Power to have enough for RC for posting and stuff, but where its happening for me is LasseCash, I dont care if they change the powerdown time of Hive, because those whales never rewarded me for good content for 6 years and they dont understand anarcho capitalism and flat earth, so they are not worth my time.

Show me someone in charge of a boat or plane who navigates large distances with a flat Earth model, and I'll show you a lost plane or boat. That aside, you're definitely right. Three months is indeed 13 weeks. I am not sure where my head was at when I said that.

thank you very much for sharing information, have a good day and a great mood

thank you very much for the exchange, have a nice day and a great week

https://odysee.com/@DollarVigilante:b/Billions-of-LUNA-VID:7

Dollar vigilante supposedly made over a million dollars buying Luna at 0.000001 and selling it on a bounch... he is shady, so I kind-of feel like only a part of the story is true, he say he had billions of Luna at some point, but on cmc they claim there is maximum 1 billion luna, so that make no sense...

Apart from that, then I never was into Luna so I dont know much about it, I guess the algo broke... I dont use so called stabile coins, as I invest in the best not dollar pegs:

#LasseCash #BabyJesus #Lassie #ACASH

#HEX #HEDRON #PULSE #PULSEX #LIQUIDLOANS

Which kind of hardfork are they planning?? Does it even make sense, I mean if everyone get what they have, they are left with the same? Maybe they will try to fix the algo??

I dont have liquids to play with right now, but else I might would try to buy up $1000 worth of luna to try to sell it at 10X or 100X... its risky.. might be worth it.

Yeah LUNA is definitely moving. I bought the dollar vigilante bottom too, fastest money i've made in a long time.

Ok and now you are speculating on that they make a Hardfork the potentially the 27th??

"yeah 2 days till vote on it
supposed to hardfork 27th"

Posted using LasseCash

Yeah for sure! Back in for the pump and to collect free airdropped tokens too.

I dont know enough about Terra Luna, but there could be huge gains for smart people who understand it and have the risk kapital to imploy.

I dont have any liquids right now, everything is invested in Lasse Ehlers related products and Richard Heart related products.
