Visited Jamesons Whiskey Distillary in Dublin, Ireland last weekend, my partner had never been and wanted to taste her first whiskey.
So we dropped in to visit their world famous visitors centre to see what all the fuss was about.
Inside they had an exclusive bar that sold unique lacquers with orange chocolate, mint chocolate and other flavours and other beverages of the jamesons whiskey variety.
The atmosphere was calm and relaxed and staff were very proffessional.
They had guided tours of the distillary to suit everyone, different time lenghts and options to view historical documentaries.
You could even pay a little extra to open and taste some jamesons directly from its casket, which is a quite unique experience, the lacquers are nice, but I wanted herself to try a jamesons straight up to taste is full warming flavour
Which she wasn't very fond of, but she's not really a spirit person, she only like a bit of dry red wine now and then.
The history and building was amazing with so many old distillaries and some of the very first production bottles on display, including many archives and photographs to view.
It makes for a great day for those that like a tipple and enjoy the history while visiting the City of Vikings on the Emerald Isle.
