Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 107

Show me a photo contest (SMaP). Thanks to @nelinoeva #smap. This is my very first entry to the contest.

This picture shows a little kestrel. Obiously it was a fledgling. Until a few weeks ago we lived in a city in Bavaria, closely to our flat was a church. A pair of kestrels had been breeding there for many years - this was well known in the town. One day a young one strayed to our window. It stayed there for a few minutes so I could actually take a picture. How fortunate!

        Kestrels are very adaptable to humans and we also have a pair, or may be more, living in one of the concrete block of flats. It is always nice to see them flying around. They are amazing birds. It is so nice you have a shot so close.
        However, the theme for this week is Crow family or Corvidae and kestrels are not part of it. Also entries must be posted in Feathered friends community.
        But do not be discouraged, each week a new theme is announced and you can join the contest any time. Very often it is free theme,any bird photo is welcome as long as it is your own.
