I was watching a YouTube video created by @jerrybanfield where he was explaining how he made $28,000 in one month...he did a breakdown of where all the money came from...$20K came from SteemIt. What is that?! I pay attention to money a lot and I'd never heard of it. That took me down a rabbit hole to learn about cryptocurrency and all its possibilities. I literally was so wired at the time from the possibilities of crypto that I could not sleep for 3 days, searching EVERYTHING I could to learn about blockchain, etc. There was a whole world out there I had been oblivious to...That's the "Reader's Digest" version... You have probably all had a similar experience once you learned about bitcoin or similar and how it will turn the world upside down, etc. Well, I'm excited about something else right now...
Perhaps you've heard of it...maybe you haven't. I hadn't until a couple weeks ago.

Ok...if you don't know what it is, let me get you excited...I was curating, like I normally do... just finding folks like you to spread some Hive because my upvote is...well...kinda dolphin size...and I enjoy spreading the wealth...

I got super excited! If you have been on Hive for longer than a couple days, and possibly even if you've been here for an hour, you've likely heard of Splinterlands. I know it's a card game, but other than that, I'm lost...I don't spend much time looking into it because what I have seen doesn't really interest me much; however, it is uber successful. This Psyber-X, as I've read about it, appears to be a Fortnite-like game programmed on the Hive blockchain by a group of game developers who have been making games for years for other people...they decided to make one for themselves. So Cool! (because I have always thought it would be cool to make a game, partially...I almost got an associate's degree in graphic design)
This game is coming soon to Hive...that means demand. Well, I also found out they'll be using the LVL token...which I had never heard of before. When I heard about it 2 weeks ago, it was 0.0004 Hive per coin...and after reading the article above, I imagined all the gamers playing this game like Splinterlands (which last I checked had 300K players) who would jump to get some of the first goodies the game would offer. It seems like those are always relics that people crave...so I bought a ton of LVL (buyer beware, don't invest anything you're not comfortable losing, etc. disclaimer-I own a lot...like over 300K with more buy orders...).
If you haven't read it in my other posts, I was addicted to games on my phone. I quit all of them cold turkey. I know what can happen to me. I won't be playing Psyber-x but maybe a couple times...but then I'll stop...or maybe I shouldn't play because I'll probably get hooked...oh I don't know. Anyway, I played a game called "Magic, the Gathering" in 1996. I didn't have the Alpha or Beta cards of the game, but I bought cards shortly thereafter. The Alpha and Beta cards are still very expensive to this day, as far as I know. They were expensive then. What I'm guessing is that these first crates will have some pretty amazing goodies that I don't want to miss out on. I also know in economics about supply/demand. With LVL at 0.0004 Hive, I had to rack up enough to get 200K. It didn't take me long. I took the price up to 0.00137 before I stopped buying, then put in some buy orders where people sold me many more for anywhere between 0.0008 and 0.001. It has provided a nice return already, but I'm waiting for the game to come out.
So I asked @psyberx, "When's it coming out?"
He said, "in 2022"...The Alpha version will be out in Q1 2022. Beta possibly in Q2?

As of today (3 hours ago), https://peakd.com/oneup/@psyberx/the-5-week-countdown-psyber-x-get-ready just got dropped... 5 weeks to see what has been developed in the game so far.
I'm excited! I don't know what else to tell you...It looks like they're nailing the graphics and having a Universe that is interactive on the Hive chain is going to be awesome! I had to say something about it because I've been holding it in for weeks...now it's your turn to stop sleeping... lol
