Age, many people don't take it into account, but when you least expect it, you're already an older man or woman. That's what happened to Les, he never thought he'd reach the age he is today, not so long ago, according to him, he was a young man and look, today he's already 76 years old. Time has flown by. This morning, while he was going through some old papers in the kitchen, he came across an old list. That list will have a great impact on his life. He burst into tears as soon as he reads what it says. It was the wish list that he and his wife prepared years ago. Obviously, it's not a list with great feats or impossible plans, it was a list of simple things they wanted to do together, that is, visit a town and eat a typical dish in Egypt, dance near the Eiffel Tower and in general, do things that seemed insignificant at the time but that were special to them. He burst into tears because his husband died many years ago due to age. And unfortunately, many of the things on the list were never done.

He started to think about his wife's wish to fulfill these wishes, and then his age came to mind again. He knew that sooner or later age would take its toll on him too, so it was very important that he made a decision as soon as possible about what he wanted to do with what he had left of life. And what better than to take a trip to fulfill his wife's wishes. She was not alive but she was in his heart, so if he fulfilled them it would be like the two of them were there together. So he prepared everything necessary and took from his savings what he had from his pension to pay for the trip. It would be great. He sets off for the airport. The trip is not at all perfect from the start. At the station, among the crowd, he forgets his wallet in the locker and has to go back embarrassed to look for it.

The way he handles these little everyday disasters makes him seem a bit clumsy at times, but his attitude is that of someone who moves on without giving too much importance to setbacks. To start with, the first flight turns out to be a mess, with schedule confusion and misunderstandings with the counters, but he laughs at himself as he settles into his seat, thinking that life is too short to stress over these details. Between one thing and another, he arrives at the first destination on his list, Egypt. He arrives at a typical town in the country and here he eats a dish that his wife always wanted to eat but couldn't. This saddened him greatly, but he was comforted by the knowledge that he was making this trip for her. Although of course the beautiful experience also has its nuances that make it fun.

There were street vendors offering him products of dubious use, and there was the language that he couldn't understand. Luckily, he had a tour guide with him who was helping him. This was the first stop of the trip. Then, little by little, as he fulfills the wishes on his list one by one, he meets people who teach him small life lessons. For example, he meets a group of locals who invite him to share a simple meal. Obviously it is not an epic experience, but it is exactly what he wanted: something simple that would make him enjoy the trip, and that is what his wife would have wanted.

However, not everything is a succession of lucky moments. At some point in the trip, in the midst of the satisfaction of having fulfilled several wishes, he faces a particularly difficult day. His suitcase disappears in a moment of distraction. The situation becomes complicated when he realizes that without it he loses part of the connection with those precious memories because inside it are his wife's ashes in a vase. If he loses them the trip would be ruined so it was very important to find where they were. In addition, those ashes were the only thing he had left of his wife in the literal sense. If he lost them it was better to die in his opinion. He quickly returns to the last airport he left and presents the problem to the police. They tell him that just a moment ago they had found a lost suitcase. When he heard that he felt relieved and when they brought it to him it was indeed that one. After the paperwork they let him continue with his trip.

After that he continues his journey in this country he has just arrived in. He finds himself in a place he and his wife had dreamed of visiting, the Eiffel Tower. He and his wife had always wanted to visit it but they never could. In this tower high up, at the very top. He opened the vase and released the ashes into the air. Now all the wishes on the list were complete. His husband was free and he would soon be too when one day his ashes are released in this place. He and his wife will be together forever.
