Starting from scratch is sometimes very good because it helps us find new ideas or reinvent ourselves. And of course sometimes it is also bad because many times we do not want to do it and it happens because of things that are beyond our control. But in Winston's case he wanted to start a new life from scratch. He was tired of living in a big and noisy city, he wanted to see new places and meet other people. Every day was the same, streets full of cars that did not let him move forward, traffic jams on every corner. He had to leave hours in advance to go to any place he wanted to go because the traffic jams always made him late. He plays the drum for a living so he almost always has events scheduled at specific times and he was tired of always doing the same job. That is why he made the radical decision to move to a smaller city.

When he finally decided what he wanted to do or when he was going to do it, he sat down and thought about what he wanted to do. And what he finally decided was that he wanted to move to the town of San Alvaro. That town was smaller and had just what he was looking for. So he packed his bags, his drum and a rather strange idea of what he wanted to do with his life in that town. The only thing that was clear was that he was done living in the city. The truth is that San Alvaro was the opposite of the city, small streets without much traffic, chickens that walked around as if they owned the town, and a cafe in the main square that seemed to always be open, but never really full. It was just what he was looking for.

Winston felt like he could fit in there. To live, what he found was a small apartment. But hey, he wasn't looking for the perfect life, it was just a bit of peace. The good thing about the apartment was that it was right next to a music store. So if he wanted to buy an instrument or something, he would have it right next to the house.

But that wasn't the best thing about the instrument store. The store had closed a few days ago due to the lack of an employee to work there. To work there, you not only had to know the usual things like economics and such, the owners of the store wanted the next clerk to also know something about music and instruments. That way, he could give demonstrations to the customers and give them a little more context. So when Winston moved next door and they saw that he was unemployed, they offered him the job, especially since they were the owners of the apartment and he had to explain to them what he did. So they put two and two together and he ended up working for them.

For Winston, it was very good, not everyone has the opportunity to work next to their home. On the other hand, it allowed him to get out of the same routine that he was already tired of in his old city. That was how he started his life there in San Álvaro. In the first years, life in the town was quiet, although it was a little lonely at first since he had no friends. But little by little he got to know the people of the town and what they liked.

Many of the people who lived in the town were musicians or had been musicians. This is because there is a music college in the town. And since it was a small town, many of them had either been music students or had been music teachers. So they were quite cultured in this sense. That is why the store that Winston sold it in was in high demand, and it was the only one of its kind. One day Ceci, an elderly woman who wanted to buy a small wooden guitar for her grandson, came. And while she was looking at the options available, she told Winston something very interesting.

She was complaining that in the town people didn't live like they used to, because before everyone was more united. In the sense that they did more activities together and since almost everyone knows how to play, they often held events in which everyone participated. Those were very nice times, but now everyone is too busy to do anything together. And after saying that and buying the toy guitar, she left. After she left, Winston thought about it. He wanted to do something to help them because what the lady told him really made him feel bad. So he came up with a plan, which consisted of doing a music activity where everyone would paint and thus bring joy back to the town.

In addition, this activity would help him meet more people in the town. So he looked in the yellow pages of the telephone directory for Ceci's address to visit her and tell her about his idea. And he found her, it turns out she didn't live that far away. He went out on his motorcycle on his way there thinking about what to say to her.

When he arrived, he knocked on the door and told her what he wanted to do and how he had touched her, what she had told him in the store. Her eyes filled with tears because she could not believe that he had the desire to bring joy back to everyone, especially to her, who was the one who remembered those days the most. She gave him a hug and told him to count on her for whatever was needed and to organize everything together. First of all, they planned a date, it should not be too close because otherwise there would not be time for people to prepare and join them. So they said it would be exactly in a week. Winston would be in charge of printing the invitations on his computer and Ceci would be in charge of sending them to every resident of the town.

It took them more than 3 days to print and send all the invitations, so time was running out. But it worked out; in less than 12 hours, hundreds of people from the town had attended the meeting. In the invitation, Winston called them to a meeting in the square. There he explained to them the importance of being united and his idea of doing a mega concert together to get to know each other and clear their minds as they used to do before. Many immediately agreed and acknowledged that they got carried away by work and the daily letters and had forgotten the most important thing in the town, their love for music.

So they prepared for the following week to put on a grand concert as they had done before. Ceci and Winston would be in charge of starting the concert and organizing everything. Of course they would have the help of the others. And the day arrived, it was a very early Thursday, everyone had stopped working to attend the event. They created an improvised stage and the party began. Ceci and Winston started by playing their own instruments, Ceci on the guitar and Winston on the drum. Then little by little the others joined them. Now they were all closer together and promised to do it more often. Without a doubt this would not have been possible without Ceci and Winston.
